 Meet Dash Wallace

Bella's Review: 4 Stars!!!

Great story about Dash Wallace (famous baseball player) and Vivian Foster (normal, working woman).

I LOVE that Dash is taken with Vivian from the start. Vivian is a librarian at an elementary school and she brings her students to get baseballs signed by professional baseball players at a park. She, too, wants to get a baseball signed as she is a super fan of baseball and needs to get every player on the team to sign a ball for her dad's birthday present. I LOVE that she ends up scolding Dash.

I love that Vivian doesn't take any crap from the sexy, charming, wealthy sports super star.

There was nothing more offensive than a man blessed with looks where he should have been given courtesy.

Dash and Vivian have amazing, electric chemistry right from the start. And Dash gets it into his mind that Vivian is his new good luck charm.

It was very interesting to see how much mental energy goes into preparing for a game when you're a professional athlete. Dash has his routines and if he changes anything, he feels like it is bad luck. The superstition and pre-game habits had just as big of an impact on his performance as his training and talent.

This book definitely made me feel.

I felt the connection between Vivian and Dash.
I felt Dash's desperation to have Vivian with him so that he would do well with this games.
I felt Vivian's reluctance to give her heart to Dash for fear that he would hurt her.
I felt the vulnerability between them.
I felt the chemistry (did I mention electric!!).
I felt Vivian's strength - no expiration date!!
I felt their pain when everything fell apart.
I felt the love when Dash pulled his head out of his butt and realized that Vivian meant more to him than just a lucky charm.

Great read!!

About the Author:

CD Reiss is a USA Today bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn't pick up she's at the well hauling buckets. Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master's degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels. She's frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn't ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood. If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
