Tight by Alessandra Torre - Bella's Review

Tight
by Alessandra Torre

Blurb:
I was happy in my small town. In my life as a single, thirty-two year old woman. I had a good job, wonderful friends, my independence.

I also hadn't got laid in three years. Hadn't been on a date in two. Had stopped counting calories and wearing makeup... a while ago.

Then Brett Jacobs waltzed in. Caressed my thigh, dug rough fingers into my hair, lowered his soft mouth to my skin, took sexual control of my mind and stirred it all around with what he packed in his pants. He flipped my quiet life upside down and crawled into a place in my heart I thought was dead.

The issue is his secret.
The issue is her.
The issue is that I don't even know she exists, and he thinks she's dead.
The issue is that shit is about to hit the fan and I can't hold on to him tight enough.

Full Review: 5000 stars!!!

Alessandra is one of my top favorite authors. Ever. This woman is seriously talented. She can write.

I love going into her books blind. I know there will be twists. There will be turns. There will be off the charts steaminess. The sex will blow my mind and make me squirm. But it's not all about the sex. The plot is amazing.

In this book, I LOVE the female lead, Riley. LOVE her train of thought. I could totally relate to her. She is on a bachelorette party and meets Brett. They totally have insta-lust. Their chemistry doesn't allow them to walk away from each other. Riley figures she will end her dry spell with this gorgeous man - when will she get another chance at a guy like this?

Brett is intense. He is gorgeous, wealthy, sexy...but mysterious. Intriguing.

"I told you this doesn't have to be anything."
"Or," he shrugged, stepping forward, his mouth pressing softly against my cheek, my lips crying for the missed contact, the taste of his tongue, the
onelastchance that might have just flown by, "it could be the start of everything."

And so, their love affair begins. They don't live in the same state, so Brett sweeps Riley away on weekends. One weekend turns into to two, then three, then pretty soon they are meeting up regularly.

I'm loving this story...this romance connection with Riley and Brett.

And then. There's another POV. From Kitten.

What the hell is going on here???

We get the POV of Riley, Brett & Kitten.

The story that starts out steamy, sexy and romantic, becomes a mystery. There is so much more to this story then some sex scenes (although, Alessandra Torre is especially talented at writing sex scenes).

What I love about this book:
- The writing. Hands down. Love the way this woman writes. I am sucked in to the story quickly, I am attached and emotionally invested in the characters quickly and I just CAN'T put the book down.
- Riley was an awesome female lead.
- The plot. I don't want to give anything away. But this story takes you to some dark places. It is not predictable.
- Multiple POV. This is amazing. It's one of those books you need to re-read after you have finished it so that you can pick up on clues left purposefully throughout the story.
- Not predictable. I read so many damn books that they tend to blend. Not Alessandra Torre's books. She blows my mind time and time again.

What I didn't like about this book: not a damn thing.

Read this book.

Get your one-clicking finger ready and clear your schedule.

Once you start reading you won't be able to stop.

Thank you for such a great read, Alessandra!!!!
